Is the Danube Cycle Path suitable for beginners?

Yes. The route around the Wachau is largely flat and well signposted, making it comfortable for casual riders and families. But also very beautiful for experienced riders!

Do I need to bring my own bike?

No. Bicycles and e-bikes can be rented directly at the hotel! Just ask at reception or add a bike when you book your room.

How far is the Danube Cycle Path from the hotel?

You start right at the castle hotel, Schloss Dürnstein sits directly on the cycle path.
