each course tells the story of French taste and lifestyle,
accompanied by perfectly paired wines, Champagne, and Cognac.

THE gourmet experience: an 8-course journey in the historic wine cellar of Dürnstein Castle.
From the sparkling magic of Champagne to the golden sweetness of Sauternes –
an evening full of indulgence and French joie de vivre.
The exquisite dishes are accompanied by perfectly paired wines, Champagne, and Cognac.
The event takes place as part of the Wachau GOURMET Festival in collaboration with KATE & KON. Menu Tour de France June 4, 2026The
procession leads from Dürnstein Abbey through the town, which is
beautifully decorated on this morning,
and continues into our castle courtyard, where one can admire one of the last outdoor altars.
The priest is accompanied by representatives of the community, the town’s brass band,
men and women in traditional attire, and many guests who wish to take part in this
unique traditional experience.
