By Car

Exit at Melk if you are coming from the west (Salzburg, Linz).
Cross the Danube (bridge).

Enjoy a beautiful drive along the Danube through towns like Spitz and Weissenkirchen.
Before the tunnel in Dürnstein, turn left and drive up the hill.

Please park directly in our courtyard!

If you are coming from Vienna, take either the A1 or A22 towards Krems.
After Krems, continue 6 km upstream along the Danube to Dürnstein.
After the tunnel, turn right and drive up the hill.

By Train

In summer, the charming Wachau Railway runs along the left bank of the Danube between Krems and Emmersdorf.

Alternatively, there are very good train connections from Vienna or St. Pölten to Krems in just about 1 hour.
From there, continue by public bus or taxi (6 km to us).

By Plane

Vienna International Airport is only 1 hour by car from us.
You can rent a car or use one of the many limousine services.
Public transport also provides excellent connections.

By Helicopter

You wouldn’t be the first to land in Dürnstein by helicopter and have us pick you up along the Danube in a golf cart.
