The Beverage Attendant is responsible for the daily preparation and organization of the entire beverage area and ensures that service runs smoothly.
Key tasks include cleaning and restocking the drink stations, the lobby-area bar, and the wine coolers. The attendant regularly monitors wine inventory in the cellar, maintains cleanliness and order in storage areas, and checks new deliveries, including delivery notes. They also handle sorting, cleaning, and storing glasses and tableware, as well as the disposal of empties.
Daily, the attendant updates the wine selection by the glass on the drinks menu and supports the service team in the background during quieter periods.
Another important responsibility is the regular inspection and proper restocking of minibars in guest rooms.
The Beverage Attendant prepares drink orders, assists with inventory at the beginning and end of the season, and ensures compliance with all hygiene and quality standards. During lunch and dinner service, the beverage area is staffed until released by the Maître d’ or head waiter.
Through reliable and structured work, the Beverage Attendant contributes significantly to a professional and smooth service operation. Additional tasks may be assigned depending on operational requirements.
