The Pastry Chef is responsible for the preparation and attractive presentation
of our desserts during lunch and dinner service,
playing a key role in the overall culinary experience of our guests.
They create a daily selection of classic Austrian sweets
as well as seasonal and creative dessert variations.
Their duties also include producing homemade ice cream,
fine pastries, and cookies for the coffee area,
as well as preparing desserts for events,
small celebrations, and special occasions.
While working according to established recipes, the Pastry Chef is encouraged to contribute their own ideas and variations.
With skilled craftsmanship, they execute recipes consistently and at a high level of quality.
Close collaboration with the kitchen team ensures smooth operations during lunch and dinner service.
They maintain strict standards of cleanliness and hygiene and handle ingredients efficiently.
Preparing mise en place and timely replenishment during service are also part of the role.
This position is suitable both for trained pastry chefs and motivated career changers
with a passion for pastry and a willingness to learn.
